Do you ask questions? I seem to be a naturally curious person, so I ask alot of questions. Sometimes I ask questions to clarify my understanding, other times I ask more leading questions as stepping stones in an attempt to direct the conversation. Next week classes resume here at the school of business and I wholeheartedly encourage students to ask questions. In fact, read ahead in the textbook and then ask questions about topics you did not understand from just reading the book.
So welcome back, and I hope you brought your questions. They might lead you to a profession you are interested in and a career which you are curious about. Lifelong learning about a topic you are somewhat naturally curious about seems like a great way to become one of the best in your field.
Questions are kind of interesting part of the life, but they create frustrations if you don’t have an answer (even if it is short) for them. So, just as for suggestion, make sure that whenever whoever wishes to welcome questions, that question should be regarded as a kind of discussion and not a question. Because, when you ask for questions, you have to have answers for those. But if you consider it as a discussion, then different thinking streams start working from every side and often you get most satisfactory answer, even though you haven’t created or thought about it entirely.
No doubt that, questions are most interesting part of lives and many times they create an ongoing quest for you, which you want to solve, no matter the time required for it. Still, I believe that hardest among the hardest quest can be solved by discussion, rather than bunch of questions, as I said discussion welcomes the stream of different thinking.
I really appreciate what you have discussed here that, “Lifelong learning about a topic you are somewhat naturally curious about seems like a great way to become one of the best in your field.” And again, as Aristotle
has said, “”Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress no matter how slow.”
Very good blog article.Really looking forward to read more. Great.
I am a really curious person, as well.
I like to ask anything that I am not sure or I don’t understand.
But sometimes, it’s so hard to ask something in class or public.
I think this is not only my problem. People don’t want to look stupid and fool. Also, some people are so shy.
Then, what do you think about that situation?
what can be a solution for people who is uncomfortable when they talk in front of people?
I just wonder.
this one can be a “QUESTION” for you. ^^
