NAIT's 50th Convocation takes place on

If you expect to complete your program requirements on or before June 30, 2013, you are eligible to attend Convocation 2013.

Ceremonies

Each ceremony consists of

  • an address by NAIT’s President & CEO, Dr. Glenn Feltham
  • keynote address by a NAIT Honorary Diploma recipient
  • award presentations
  • presentation of credentials to the graduates

Graduates must wear a gown to participate and no caps or hats are permitted.

Evening Ceremony – Friday, May 10, 2013 - 6:30 p.m.

Gown Orders

Students can order a gown from one of the following locations

  • Main Campus Bookstore, Room X114, or contact 780.471.7717
  • Patricia Campus Bookstore, Room P135
  • Souch Campus, Room Z155A

Cost: $25 before March 28, 2013, $40 after March 28, 2013

Gown Return

Gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony

Gowns are to be returned to the banquet room on the lower level of the Jubilee Auditorium. Graduates failing to return their gown and hood immediately after the ceremony will have their parchment held at the Registrar's Office until it has been returned to the NAIT Bookstore.

Ticket Information

Guests are required to have a ticket for entry into the Jubilee Auditorium. As the number of available guest tickets is projected according to past attendance records, graduates may have up to 4 guest tickets. Tickets are assigned at the time gowns are picked up on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the Convocation Brochure (pdf) for more details.
