Student counselling is here to help you and is available for current NAIT students who are experiencing barriers to their success. We offer a holistic approach and work with you to create a personalized plan to improve your self-care, mental health and overall well-being.

If you are experiencing a crisis, come to the Counselling Office immediately. Outside of counselling office hours call the Adult Mental Health Crisis Response Team at 780.342.7777. Trained professionals are available to help you 24/7.

Counsellors are available to assist you in the areas of academic success, personal concerns and career planning.
A counselling session is usually 30 to 50 minutes depending on the nature of the concern. If the concern is important to you, then it is worth discussing with a counsellor.
