BAI611 Advanced Switching Concepts

This is an integrated theory/lab course covering advanced switching technologies. This course will include topics on Campus Networks, describing and implementing advanced Spanning Tree concepts, VLANs and Inter-VLAN communication, High Availability, Access Layer Voice concepts, and minimizing service Loss and Data Theft in a Campus Network. This course uses the Cisco Networking Academy as a delivery model. Should the student choose to do so, this course can provide the foundation knowledge to better prepare them for writing the Cisco BCMSN vendor exam. This course is a prerequisite to BAI687.
