BAK405 Modern Wedding Cakes
When a cake is at the centre of attention, you want to make sure the fondant is flawless and the design dramatic. By building on BAK400 Cake Decorating Principles, you will gain more insight on how to plan, prepare and decorate a wedding cake using butter creams or sugar paste. Modern designs and decorating mediums such as fondant, gum paste, sugar art, modeling chocolate and royal icing will be demonstrated. There will be plenty of time as well, to work on your own wedding cake projects.
Prerequisite: BAK400 Cake Decorating Principles or practical knowledge of this area.
