CCTA105 AutoCAD Fundamentals

Turn your AutoCAD dreams into achievable goals. This beginner course can help you transform your dreams of drafting industrial systems or mechanical tools into tangible ideas. All lessons are designed to help you develop the fundamental skills in drawing production. Course content covers:

• AutoCAD interface, page setup, plotting and drawing setup

• visual display commands, coordinates, basic drafting tools

• 2D geometry

• managing object properties

• CADD construction techniques

• creating annotation

• cross hatching and blocks

The content of this class will apply to both AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.

Recommended: Technical training, drafting knowledge or practical experience. CCTO101 Windows Desktop Operating System or equivalent training or experience in any Windows operating system. Good written and spoken English.
