Course Overview

Expand your knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and increase your skills by managing SQL Server permissions, data integrity, performance, and maintenance. With the skills you gain in this course, you will be able to create scheduled tasks to perform regular SQL Server maintenance tasks and batch operations, design a single-form application in Visual Basic.NET, and connect to an SQL Server database.

Graduates of this course will be able to administer network authentication, security authorization, and permissions for databases and database objects. Improve data security using the SQL Server encryption model and maintaining data integrity in a relational database. You will be able to create a database maintenance plan to properly maintain and optimize SQL Server using automation and database utilities.

It is recommended that you complete CCTB100 Microsoft SQL Level I prior to enrolling in this course or have taken an equivalent course or have practical experience.
