CCTM235 - Security, Access, and Availability for Cloud Computing
Please be advised that our student administration system will be undergoing maintenance from 4:30 p.m, Thursday, June 13 until 8 a.m., Monday, June 17. You will not be able to use the shopping cart to enrol in courses during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Cloud is only useful when it is very secure but extremely easy to access, and also only when it’s available 24/7. In this course you will learn how the Cloud actually increases security, and how that’s done. You will also learn about the different access technologies, including virtual network concepts that connect everything and allow users to access data, virtual desktops (Windows computer virtual machines), messaging and collaboration, and more. And to make sure everything keeps running, you will learn about redundancy, failover, high availability, clustering, backup, replication, disaster recovery, and more. Theory is frequently interspersed with labs so that you can walk away knowing what it takes to make the cloud trustworthy.
