CCTO100 Bookkeeping Level I

This is an introduction to manual bookkeeping. You’ll learn about:

• basic Bookkeeping Terminology and Rules

• different types of Accounts and their purpose

• Debits and Credits and how they affect Bookkeeping

• definition and practice of using T-Accounts

• different Journals and how they should be used

• Journalizing and Posting entries

• basics of Trial Balance reporting.

This class uses a hands-on learning approach to the basics of keeping manual accounting records for a small service business. Students must supply their own calculator.
