CON270P Estimating I - Quantity Surveying

The estimating course provides instruction and skill development in the work organization and practices of the prime and subcontractor estimator. Studies and practice will involve math skills development, organizational techniques, theory, and quantity surveying methods.

For students with less than two years experience as a Construction Estimator or Project Manager/Coordinator CRP83 and CRP84 are required as bridging courses to ensure students can interpret Technical Drawings. Basic Excel Skills are also required.

Prerequisite: CON 131P and CON 132P.
