CON392P Contract Law
This course provides an introduction to the aspects of law in Canada and how it specifically affects the construction industry. Topics include:
• a review of the CCDC 2 Stipulated Price Contract
• review of the law of contracts
• the builders' lien act
• arbitration, building codes and bylaws
• tendering and contract execution
• the business of subcontracting
