CON490P Construction Cost Control
This course focuses on earned value analysis for monitoring and control of project resource usage and costs. Measurement, analysis and report formats for labour and cost monitoring and forecasting are explored using building construction examples. Value engineering and life cycle costing are also included in this course. Students will create Excel spreadsheets for cost and forecast reports using standard construction industry formats.
Prerequisites: CON251P, CON370P, CON395P as well as intermediate excel and microsoft project skills.
