CRP50 Swingstage Certification

This course will consist of approximately 4 hours of theory and 6 hours of practical. The theory component of the course includes:

- conventional swingstage components

- Boatswain’s Chairs and Fall Arrest equipment and use

- O.H. & S. rules

- wire rope and fitting

- counterweight calculations

The practical component of the course includes:

- assembling equipment/dismantling and storage

- inspection of equipment

- erection and use of equipment

- tie offs, knots and use of equipment accessories

Participants will be required to do some pre-reading and complete a quick question sheet as preparation for the course.
