CTS12 CTS Summer Institute Construction Fabrication II

This Construction Fabrication summer course is designed for CTS teachers at the Junior High or High School level and will provide the information required to address the specific areas identified in the CTS modules CON2130 through CON2180. The subject matter covered includes box construction, finishing & refinishing, frame & panel, web & face frame, and door & drawer construction. Most of this 30 hour course will be spent in the shop building projects designed to be taken back to the classroom. Evaluation will be based on the completed projects and class assignments.

Students may apply for a Tuition Grant to a maximum of $400.00 at http://www.carcpd.ab.ca/CTS_PD/index.html

Prerequisite: Bachelor of Education Degree , CTS20 and currently teaching CTS.

Hours: 35.00
