CULG306 - Gourmet Boot Camp
Students enrolling in Gourmet Boot Camp should be able to:
Slice, dice and chop. Having excellent Knife skills is necessary so that daily time lines can be kept.
Comfortably prepare the 5 Mother Sauces.
Identify doneness factors in dry and moist heat cooking.
Practice excellent safety and sanitation habits in the kitchen.
The course runs over a total of 36 hours, splitting each day into intensive and fun 8 hour sessions.
Prerequisite: You must be at least 18 years of age, as alcohol may be involved.
