Course Overview
This course provides students with the fundamental skills and concepts required to design and animate artwork to produce a simple interactive movie that can be viewed on the web. This course uses Adobe Flash to teach students how to create and edit artwork. Once the student can create artwork, they will be shown how to animate their artwork and incorporate audio to enhance the visual experience. The student will then take their animated project and create a fun and engaging cartoon or game. This project will be used to show the student how to distribute their project on the web by integrating the content into a web page. This course is a prerequisite for courses in the program such as animation, flash web development and flash mobile development.
