DMS10 Sonography Breast
Keep your sonography skills current with the latest information or prepare yourself to challenge the ARDMS registry exam. You will learn online at your own pace while also having the opportunity to interact with other sonographers in a web-based environment led by an ARDMS certified breast sonographer. Topics covered throughout the course will include:
• role and indications for breast ultrasound
• anatomy and physiology of the breast
• sonographic anatomy and technique
• mammography basics for the non-mammographer
• breast pathology and BIRADS
• augmentation and reconstruction
• interventional procedures
Upon successful completion, students will receive 35 CME credits.
Prerequisites: Must be an ARDMS or CARDUP registered sonographer, or a registered MRT.
