Take your knowledge of electrical theory to the next level! Students will review the basics of single-phase AC circuits and applications. A wide range of topics will be covered, including the generation and distribution of three-phase power, Wye and Delta systems, three-phase power measurement, power-factor correction, instrument transformers, and three-phase transformer connections. Additional study topics include motor control circuits and an introduction to three phase induction motors.
Students will put theory into practice in a variety of laboratory exercises.
Recommended: ELT41 or equivalent.
