ENVR2205 - Environmental Management
This course provides an overview of environmental issues dealing with air, water, groundwater, soils and hazardous waste and relates these issues to the need for an Environmental Management System. Students are introduced to the concept of Sustainable Development and how Pollution Prevention, (rather than Pollution Control), is the preferred approach to minimizing human impacts on the environment.
This course is available to students in the Occupational Health and Safety program. Prerequisite: OHSD2101. Co-requisite: OHSD2201.
