Course Overview
An introductory-level course to the decorative craft of wood veneering. Wood veneering is a method of embellishing the surface of a wood project with contrasting, more exotic, or precious materials. Creativity is a key component to wood veneering as motifs, designs, and functions are limitless.
You will learn about the different types of veneers, bonding agents, and the many applications for veneering. A simple project will be completed in the class (designed, cut, and applied). With a little know-how and the right hand-tools, the results will surprise you. The instructor will present a variety of examples of veneering in the workshop.
