Course Overview
Gain practical skills and build your confidence with woodworking! Students will be introduced to the standard tools used in woodworking and will learn to correctly select the right tool for a given job, with a constant emphasis on the safe operation and handling of each tool. The following tools will be utilized to construct projects: power hand saw, jig saw, power drill, jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, router and sanders. Students will be required to supply their own measuring tape and pencil.
