FDC98 Table Saw

Discover the full potential of working with a table saw! Students will learn the basic operations and standard features of a table saw, with a strong emphasis on safe operations and standard cutting techniques. Advanced techniques, jigs and fixtures will also be covered. Additional course topics include:

• safety mechanisms, including splitters and guards

• blade selection

• various cutting techniques, such as straight cuts, rip cuts, crosscuts and tapered cuts

• jigs and fixtures for dado cuts, miters and advanced woodworking such as dowels

• kerf bending
