HE49 BioDiesel Fuel

What is BioDiesel and how is it made? Is BioDiesel safe to run in my Diesel engine? How will BioDiesel affect my engine’s performance and emissions? If you have questions we have answers. This one day course will be divided equally in the classroom and lab, focusing on Biodiesel properties, production and performance.

Topics will include:

• properties of Diesel fuel / Biodiesel fuel

• production of Biodiesel.

• CI ignition basics

• CI engine emissions

• CI engine testing

Personal Protective Equipment required: Safety glasses and SAE approved footwear.
