HE65 Heavy Equipment Mobile Air Conditioning

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians can use this course to update their skills with the service and repair of mobile heavy equipment air conditioning systems. The course is also designed to introduce entry-level employees to the heavy equipment mobile air conditioning industry.

The course consists of air conditioning system theory, operation, servicing and maintenance procedures in a hands-on environment. HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) control systems are also addressed. Shop practice will include environmentally safe and approved refrigerant handling procedures.

Prerequisite: This course is designed to update journeyman heavy equipment technicians as well as introduce entry-level employees to the heavy equipment mobile air conditioning industry.
