HETN702 - Heavy Equipment Technician Job Readiness
Course hours will be divided between time spent in the classroom for theory and practical hands on activities in the shop where students will gain practical experience in various aspects of the trade. Course content includes shop safety, hand tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tool use, basic preventive maintenance, basic electrical servicing and an introduction to off-road and on-road equipment. During training, students will have opportunity to perform fundamental maintenance duties on heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, excavators, and on highway trucks.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a wallet card certificate
