HOS201 Breakfast & Brunch Cooking and Ideas
A sumptuous start to the day - through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on experience, you will learn the proper techniques for preparing a variety of breakfast and brunch items. Even presentation and arrangement techniques will be covered. Featured will be both practical and innovative techniques for preparing:
• Typical breakfast items such as cereals, bacon, ham, and potatoes
• Egg-dishes incorporating poaching, frying, scrambling, omelettes, and quiche
• Pancakes, waffles, and French toast
• Fruit, yogurt, meats, seafood, vegetables and cheese, as well as platter arrangements
