Take a sensory journey through Asia and learn the ancient culinary traditions through hands-on practice. Begin your study with a brief introduction to three different regions (China, Japan and Malaysia) from times past to the modern era. The tour will introduce ingredients, techniques, practices, flavours, aromas and the similarities and differences between the cultures comprising Asian cuisine. From wok cooking to sushi making and preparing flavourful marinades, you will enjoy a sensory journey to far-away lands while understanding and practicing the many culinary traditions.
