HOS40 Basic Mixology
Pull up a stool. Bring your notebook. Grab a glass. You’re ready to learn the basics of mixology. In 12 hours of instruction, you will be introduced to key topics such as the balance of flavours, temperatures, techniques, and garnishes. Learn the origins of beer, wine and spirits, along with basic bartending terminology, techniques, and knowledge of the popular and classic drinks often requested. By completion, you’ll be able to dazzle and delight others with your mixing knowledge in your own home, or be prepared to take your learning to the next level in training to bartend professionally.
Prerequisite: Must be 18 years or older due to alcohol.
