Explore the delightful flavours and textures of vegetarian cooking and vegan alternatives. The focus of the course centers on ensuring that you know how to prepare balanced meals that provide your body with all of the essential nutrients it needs. Lectures, demonstrations, and especially hands-on preparation will have you ready to lead a vegetarian lifestyle or cook for other vegetarians. A range of ingredients will be incorporated, such as a myriad of vegetables, fruits, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, and spices. You will practice preparing dishes and go home with satisfying recipes that will even gratify the meat lovers in your family. Vegan alternatives will also be discussed.
