Provisional restorations and gingival retraction cord placement are both essential skills in the busy dental practice today. During the course, you’ll have the opportunity to practice and perform the fabrication and placement of provisional crowns and bridges, placement and carving of temporary restorations and placement and removal of gingival retraction cord.
Prerequisites: Completion of Term 1 (IDA10), Term 2 (IDA20) and Practical Evaluation (IDA30) or equivalent. Application and Removal of Dental Dam (IDA50) and Taking Preliminary Impressions for Diagnostic Casts (IDA55) course, Preventive Patient Care Procedures (IDA52) course, Applied Dental Radiography (IDX51) course and Expanded Skills (IDA53) course.
