Stop cavities before they start. You can help patients prevent cavities by learning how to apply pit and fissure sealants to teeth. Gain experience performing the techniques in a practical clinical situation and easily translate these skills over to the dental office.
Prerequisites: Completion of Term 1 (IDA10), Term 2 (IDA20) and Practical Evaluation (IDA30) or equivalent. Application and Removal of Dental Dam (IDA50) and Preventive Patient Care Procedures (IDA52) course.
