If you’re required to have any patient contact on the job you’ll benefit from the lessons in this course. In your 16 hours of course time you’ll be provided with an in-depth review of dental terminology and introduced to the concepts of client care responsibilities. Also covered are the necessary skills to perform a complete oral assessment.
Prerequisites: Completion of Dental Science (IDA101) or equivalent and Dental Asepsis (HC200) or a Dental Infection Control course. Applicants must be a registered Dental Technologist or a Dental Technician.
