Learn about different dental radiology techniques, with the focus on patient positioning, film placement and exposing and processing dental radiographs. Topics include bitewing, periapical, occlusal and panoramic radiographs. Through the practical application of theory, you’ll develop these skills as well as the ability to problem solve in different dental office situations.
Prerequisites: Completion of Term 1 (IDA10), Term 2 (IDA20) and Practical Evaluation (IDA30) or equivalent. Out of Province students will require Fundamentals of Dental Radiology (IDX100) or equivalent.
