MACH615 - CAD/CAM Drawing with Mastercam Software
Please be advised that our student administration system will be undergoing maintenance from 4:30 p.m, Thursday, June 13 until 8 a.m., Monday, June 17. You will not be able to use the shopping cart to enrol in courses during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Upon successful completion of this introductory course, students will be able to draw two-dimensional objects that can be machined on a machining centre or turning centre. This course is a prerequisite for the subsequent levels of NAIT Mastercam courses.
Mastercam is the most widely used CAM software worldwide and is a common choice among Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programmers. This software will deliver comprehensive tool paths by providing full 3D wireframe modeling, powerful surface modeling/editing, solid modeling, and associative dimensioning. Mastercam has translators that allow you to open virtually any CAD file.
