Introduction to CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM). Emphasis is on creating 2D geometric drawings, drilling and milling tool paths, tooling lists, cutting parameters, machining simulation and post processing (G and M code).
Students take a practical test at the end of the course.
It is recommended that students have basic computer skills and previous experience in machining, CNC programming or manufacturing.
