MET1392 Industrial Liquid Penetrant Examination Level II

This course is intended to meet the training requirements for Levels I and II CGSB Standard 48-9712, certification of NDE personnel - PT method. Topics covered will include: test principles, applications and limitations, test variables, calibration, evaluation of test sensitivity and interpretation of results. Students should be aware that, in addition to classroom training NRCan requires:

- suitable work experience

- proof of vision to qualify for NDE certification

Prerequisite: High School Diploma or Instructor's permission.
