MIT15 Millwright Fundamentals Part 1

This course is an introduction to the Millwright trade covering material selected from within the course outline for Millwright Apprenticeship Training. This course is intended for those who wish to gain a fundamental knowledge of machinery repair and maintenance. Topics include: General Safety, Measuring Tools, Hand Tools, Fasteners, Rigging Procedures, Shafts, Fits and Accessories, Belt and Chain Drives, and Gaskets. The course contains lecture delivery with some lab assignments.

Prerequisites: Currently associated with an industrial operation or a strong interest in learning about the Millwright Trade.
