MIT51 Millwright Reciprocating Compressor Maintenance
Explore reciprocating compressor theory, operation and maintenance! Students will learn theory and do hands-on compressor maintenance on working equipment. Course content includes:
• 24 hours of reciprocating compressor design and maintenance theory
• 20 hours in the shop applying maintenance, inspection and overhaul techniques for single-acting and double-acting reciprocating compressors.
Students must bring CSA-approved safety glasses and safety shoes, and coveralls.
