MM503 Pinstriping

Learn how to pinstripe. Whether you are a beginner or someone wanting to

expand your abilities, then this class is for you. Pinstriping is an art

used to outline graphics or create a design of your own artistic style. Most

commonly seen on custom painted motorcycles, hotrods, and many other display

pieces. Students will receive hands-on training with practice of basic lines

as well as brush care, paint mixing, and panel preparation. Everyone will be

doing a panel of their own to keep. Participants will be introduced to the

following topics:

• Types of brushes and paints

• Activators

• Wax and grease removers

• Pinstriping flames

• Learn tips and tricks, and how to practice

Students should wear clothing appropriate for painting and shop environment.

Materials are provided.
