This is the first level of the practicum portion of the contact lenses program. The practicum requires 125 hours to be documented and a practicum manual must be completed under the direct supervision of a qualified preceptor. The preceptor can be an optician registered to dispense contact lenses, or an optometrist or ophthalmologist. You will also be required to complete a paper-based practicum manual.
