In order to make eyeglasses that will satisfy the patient/customer’s visual needs, you have to be able to use a variety of instruments and tools such as a pupillometer, a lensmeter, and a caliper in order to ensure the patient’s lenses function properly. You will also learn the proper techniques for infection control practices regarding instruments and tools.
Prerequisite: Candidate must be a licensed optician or be a graduate of an Opticianry program.
