OHSD1204 - Principles of OHS Management Systems
This course is the first in a series of courses on OHS management systems. The management of OHS in today's workplace receives its structure from an organizations' management system. This course explores concepts and current systems such as Behavioural Safety, PIR, and CSA Z1000 and enables the student to discuss the merits and limitations of each as preparation for individualized development in OHSD2101.
This course is available to students in the Occupational Health and Safety program. Prerequisite: OHSD1102. Co-requisite: MGMT1201.
