OHSD1205 - Hazard Anticipation, Recognition, Evaluation, and Control Theory
One of the most fundamental aspects of creating a safe working environment is the accurate recognition and evaluation of hazards. This course will develop students' ability to identify and determine hazards and controls for the workplace environment such as physical, biological, chemical, cognitive and psychosocial. This course will give students both the theoretical and practical experience necessary to evaluate and implement hazard controls in the workplace environment, such as administrative, engineering, and personal protective equipment.
This course is available to students in the Occupational Health and Safety program. Prerequisite: OHSD1102.
