PMC109 Project Risk Management

Can you describe project risk management? Understanding risk is one of the most critical components of world class project management today.

Risk management not only ensures that project risks are identified but also implements an effective plan to respond to and control the risks. At the same time, effective risk management practices can enhance opportunities for success. Students will learn how to systematically identify and analyze project risk, and respond accordingly. Important topics of study include:

• risk management planning

• risk identification

• qualitative and quantitative risk analysis

• risk response planning

• risk monitoring and control
