Course Overview

Delve into asphalt technology, a technology used in the creation of runways, roadways, bridges and more. Explore the different methods of analyzing and evaluating asphalt types and specifications. Examine the various types of High Modulus Asphalt Concrete (HMAC), the advantages and disadvantages of each, and explain how HMAC is tested for compliance with design specifications.

With the skills that you gain from this course, you’ll be able to describe best practices for asphalt laydown and compaction.
