The focus of this course will be an examination of when and how to delegate effectively and the role of the team approach. Other topics to be covered are: use of delegation as a motivational tool; design of procedures for assigning tasks effectively; methods for gaining employee agreement; characteristics of productive teams and barriers to teamwork.
