With the skills that you gain in this course, you will be able to use coordinates in offshore, acoustic signals, echo sounders, transducers, multi-beam SONAR, and other hydrographic techniques in your surveying career.
Prerequisite(s): Geomatics Engineering Technology diploma or a bachelor’s degree from a recognized technical institution. Students should have sound knowledge in the areas of map projections, geodesy, coordinate systems, and geo-informatics. Those with demonstrated extensive work experience in geomatics engineering would be considered.
