TRW6 Asbestos Removal & Abatement

Get certified for asbestos removal or abatement work! Workers who are involved in asbestos removal or abatement will benefit from the topics covered in this course, as will workers who plan to do this kind of work in the future. Students must achieve 80% or higher on the final exam in order to receive a certificate recognized by the provincial government's Workplace Health and Safety division.

Emphasis is placed on correct procedures, tools and equipment, as well as worker safety and protection. Additional study topics include:

• worksite planning and preparation

• abatement options

• health effects

• regulations
