WELD161 - Welding Metal Art II
The Welding Metal Art II course is designed to provide information on basic fitting skills and utilize this in making an arbor or garden gate. Students will review GMAW welding processes, plasma arc cutting and the use of the oxyacetylene torch. Students will practice how to use a scroll to make different shapes that can be incorporated into student designs. Upon course completion, students will have one small basic project and the gate or arbor of their design completed.
Experience in GMAW or 1st year welding recommended for this course.

Prerequisite WELD160 or WELD152
