WLD227 First Class Journeyman to "B" Pressure

Focusing on hands-on shop practice, this course is a good refresher for “B” Pressure Welders. For First Class Journeymen Welders, this course will position you to qualify as a “B” Pressure Welder.

NAIT now offers on-site testing by ABSA inspector. Students who choose this option can register in and pay for WLD227E – B Pressure Welding Exam. Nait does require a minimum of 6 students in order for ABSA to invigilate the B Pressure ABSA exam. Alternatively, students who successfully complete this course may apply to the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) for a performance test to qualify as a “B” Pressure Welder. Additional fees required for testing through ABSA.

Prerequisite: Permanent Alberta First Class Journeyman Welding Certificate or Red Seal Certificate.
